Thirdly, we are completely free of charge. We only charge the hiring companies, not the pilots. We also believe your job hunt should be as painless as possible. Using PilotCrew's user-friendly and patented system, you fill in the details once and the jobs come to you!

No. We help pilots find jobs with airlines and other employers, but we don't employ pilots directly on a contract basis.

Yes, all the details are secure and covered by our comprehensive security policy.

Employers search our database and key in the requirements they seek such as position, hours on type, base preference, etc. In all, they can search for pilots using an extensive number of search criteria. The system will pull up a match and based on that information, they will identify pilots who meet their requirements and whom they may like to hire. Note that potential employers do not have access to your personal details such as your name and contact details. That information is considered confidential and is only released with your consent if you agree to an interview.

Yes. PilotCrew.com does not release your name and contact information to third parties (prospective employers for instance) without your consent. Prospective employers only have access to a pilot's non-personal information. If an employer expresses an interest in hiring you based on your other details such as your licence and flying experience, then you will be contacted by PilotCrew.com directly and asked whether you are interested in interviewing with the potential employer. If you agree to an interview, you will also have to consent to releasing your name and contact information.

No. Once you submit your details online, that information is stored on PilotCrew.com's secure servers. It can only be viewed by you, authorized PilotCrew.com staff and potential employers. The information is not accessible by the general public.

Yes. If you select the tick box in the employment tab, you can restrict your current employer from viewing your present employment details. Thus, if a recruiting employer/airline logs on to search the database, all entries relating to that company name (and a range of derivative names such as Europe Airlines, EuropeAirlines, Europe Air, Europe Airways, etc) will automatically be blocked from viewing your employment details.

Yes, you can change your resume details at any time. Simply log on and click on any of the hyperlinks in the My Resume home page denoting the different information detail fields.

No. You can always return later and once logged in, complete the resume registration process.

No. You can fill them in any order you wish, although the most logical method is to start with the Personal Details tab, followed by the subsequent Details tab and subsequent tabs.

PilotCrew.com is a recruitment company for commercial pilots. We serve as a job clearing center for pilots around the world, matching rotary and fixed wing pilots with employers globally.

PilotCrew.com caters to both fixed and rotary wing commercial pilots. Given the specific criteria related to pilots of both fixed and rotary wing aircraft, we have created specific input fields for each category. If you fly both fixed and rotary wing aircraft, you can input the relevant information if you wish. For Total Career Flying Hours, however, we ask that you specify the time for each category.

No. PilotCrew.com's services are completely free for pilots. Unlike many recruitment agencies, we don't believe in charging pilots for the privilege of looking for a job. There are no monthly fees or other hidden charges.

You can save each record by clicking on the Save button at the bottom of each page.

Yes. Simply select and click the Edit button on your records box. The information in the input boxes will then allow you to edit and/or change the details. To save your edited changes, simply hit the Save button when done.

Yes. Simply select and click the Delete button (denoted by the trash can icon on the right hand side of the records box). This will erase your entry.

If you have been a commercial pilot for a long period (say 30 years), we don't expect you to input every record since the day you first got your licence. Nevertheless, the more detail the better as ultimately that will help potential employers. We do ask you fill in your Total Career Hours at the bottom of the Flying Details tab. This number is independent of the records you save in the system and serves as a basic summation of your total flying time.

We have attempted to include most of the major aircraft types although we recognize that some may have been inadvertently omitted. If you cannot find an aircraft type, select 'Other' from the type rating drop down menu. Enter the aircraft type/type rating in the box and fill the requisite instructor and engine information and click 'Save'.

Yes. There are military specific selections in both the Employment and Flying Details tabs.

Basically, it is designed to allow you to select your preferred base/location. Simply click on the map, select the preferred region where you would like to work. Then, select the specific territories/states/countries within that region that you would like to work in. You can select All Countries if you wish by clicking on the Select All button on the bottom left hand side of the map. Once you have made a selection, hit Save. You can also add additional records if you wish and you can re-order the order of your preferences by clicking on the arrow button.

You will receive an email from a PilotCrew staff member detailing an expression of interest from a particular airline in speaking with you. You will be asked whether you are interested in talking with this airline and permission to release your name. An interview will be scheduled and terms & conditions will then be discussed.

My Resume Creator™ is PilotCrew's patented system that allows you to auto-create a resume using the information you have already inputted when registering your details. The idea behind My Resume Creator is that it allows you to tailor your resume for a specific job application. Thus, if you see a job advertisement in a newspaper, you can tweak your resume so that it directly addresses the requirements the hiring entity is looking for. This is much better than a standard approach in that it more closely addresses what the hiring company is looking for and therefore improves your chances of getting hired.

Yes, we do not charge pilots to use the My Resume Creator service. It is an added service that we provide to you in order to make your job search easier and it is completely free.

Yes. Users can edit, remove, or otherwise alter the information they have inputted. Furthermore, you can save multiple resumes and save them using distinct names. Note that your saved resume does not alter the information you have already inputted on the main database via the Resume Registration.

Yes. Users can create multiple resumes and save them using distinct resume names (for example, "USA Airlines Resume")

Yes. Users can save the resume to their computer via the Download Resume function on the View page of My Resume Creator.

Yes. In the View tab in My Resume Creator, you can select and print your preferred resume style.

Yes, PilotCrew.com allows you to email your resume to a potential employer via the Send function in My Resume Creator. Simply input your email and the recipient email address and send. The system will attach your resume and forward a link to the recipient.

Sending a link of your resume via email is much easier than sending a file. We have found that many corporate email systems have restrictions on the size of incoming files and can automatically reject them. Besides, it is usually easier for a recipient to simply click on the link to open the resume file than actually go an open an attachment. However, if you still wish to send your resume as an attachment, you can still do so by downloading the resume and attaching it to an email.

Yes, the email will appear in the recipient's inbox as an email from your personal email account.
